As you might already know, the glorious new iPad devices won’t be
shipping
out for another few months.
But did you notice that you can’t even order one on Apple’s site?
I just found out why…and it’s very interesting.
Apparently, the FCC has not even approved the device yet! This means
right
now it would be illegal for Apple to sell it.
Of course, when they do get it approved,
Why does Apple wait until *after* announcing the device before getting
FCC
approval?
One possible explanation is they have some secret features that they
don’t want to leak, and they’re afraid that the FCC approval process
will cause a leak.
Who knows?
All I know is I can’t wait to get one..
