How many types of iPhones are there?

**3G iPhone has a better battery which boasts of double battery life than that of 2g iPhone.
**3G iPhone is 0.02 inches thicker thatn 2G iPhone (doesn’t matter much)
**3G iPhone is 2 grams lighter than 2G iPhone (doesn’t matter much again)
**3G iPhone has a plastic back in contrast with aluminium back of 2G iPhone (it was an essential change to improve transmission of 3G as metal would interfere with it.)
**3G iPhone has flushed jack for connecting headset so no more converters to use general set of earphones now.
**3G iPhone has slight change in aesthetics, curved edges and stuff.
**3G iPhone has MMS capability (no video MMS) with 3.0 software update
**3G iPhone has A2DP support with 3.0 software update
**3G iPhone is available in black color 8gb model only currently, older stock has 16gb white and black models.
The main differences between 3G and 3GS iphone :
**3GS iPhone has an improved camera with 3mp cam featuring auto-focus and auto image property adjustment like brightness and stuff.
**3GS iPhone has video recording capability, it can record video upto 30 frames per second. You can even edit your video instantly and share it.
**3GS iPhone has capability to send video MMS.
**3GS iPhone has an in-built magnetometer which is nothing but a digital compass which has its own advantage.
**3GS iPhone has oleophobic coating on screen which helps in maintaining it neat.
**3GS iPhone has a longer battery life of upto 20% more.
**3GS iPhone has a better processor and more ram making it more than 2 times faster than 3G iphone.
**3GS iPhone has voice control feature for controlling many functions in iPhone with your voice.
**3GS iPhone has inline remote in headset for music control.
**3GS iPhone weighs 2 grams more
**3GS iPhone has PowerVR SGX processor capable of handling OpenGL ES 2.0 allowing much more complex and better graphics than OpenGL ES 1.1, 3G iPhone is not capable of this.
**3GS iPhone is available in both white and back colors with 16gb and 32gb capacities.
Availability information :
The currently existing 3G 8gb iphone is already available in US at the new price of 99$ (with 2 year contract).
In india the price still remains the same as before. The price might be update in august.
3GS iPhone will be available from June 19th in US and 5 other countries. It will be available in more countries after a week and 40 more by july and all the countries by august.
IN INDIA IT WILL BE AVAILABLE IN OCTOBER, THE EXACT DATE IS NOT CONFIRMED YET.

There are no official prices yet but you can expect the prices to be similar to current structure for current models. I think the prices will be as follows.
3G 8gb at 26 to 27k
3GS 16gb at 32k
3GS 32gb at 39k
The final price if you want to purchase it from US
1. price of handset (99$ for 3g 8gb, 199$ for 3gs 16gb, 299$ for 3gs 32gb)
2. Tax on handset = 7% (7$ for 8gb, 14$ for 16gb, 21$ for 32gb)
3. Activation fee which is a compulsion = 36$
4. One month rental which is a compulsion again = 75$ including taxes
5. Contract termination charges = 175$
so the final prices are 392$ for 3g 8gb, 499$ for 16gb 3gs, 606$ for 32gb 3gs.
